Shemeka Hankins

Associate Attorney

Shemeka Hankins is a Hampton Roads native and has put servicing the citizens at the forefront of her legal career. During her tenure as a Prosecutor for over 6 years with the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, she advocated for help for defendant’s suffering from mental health issues. She has received specialized training in the areas of domestic violence, driving under the influence and narcotics. Shemeka attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach and received her Juris Doctorate in 2011. She has very strong ties to her undergraduate Alma Mater the College of William and Mary, where she graduated in 2004. Shemeka serves on a number of statewide organizations to improve the connection between lawyers and the community.
